Life in a farm

One blazing hot day while I was sitting under a tree on my father's farm and eating an apple, I was thinking. I mean like really why do we have to live in a farm?

Our governor even gave us the money to live in the city and get a house built. He even gave my father a job to be an engineer. But my father refused to that offer. Like look at my dad now. He's milking cows, washing pigs, checking to see if the chickens gave any chicks. Verses sitting in his office building taking calls and eating chips while I was at school and my mother was also taking calls and eating chips. That's what I think of work.

Aha so you're thinking what my mother and I are doing all day at home? Okay just sit back and listen. Okay what my mother does is pretty boring to me. She cooks, sews and does laundry.

What I do? I love animals. I always get to pet and hold animals. I also write in my journal and rarely help my parents.

When it comes to taxes it's pretty easy to pay. We have a little secret. We can't tell anyone but I'll trust you. Our governor pays our taxes. Oh and when we have to sell our crops all we have to do is walk across the street and sell them. I once saw the president there. It was really cool.

At night we have to sleep in one king bed with good layers of blanket. Life in a farm is not that bad. Usually the farmers are poor and their life is tough. I like living in a farm.

My favorite flower is a lotus. My favorite months are April and July because my parents birthdays are in there. My favorite season is winter because you can go snowboarding down the hills, welcome the new year, and get a winter break (same for my dad.) My favorite car is a Tesla. My favorite ice cream is Wild and Reckless at Baskin Robbins.

I will also tell you a little bit about my family.

I have an older brother. He is turning 11 next week. He like to play on devices and solve the rubric cube. His favorite color is green. His favorite holiday is Christmas. His favorite book series is The Diary of a Wimpy Kid. His favorite movie is Star Wars 7. His favorite sport is basketball. His favorite animal is a snake and is favorite insect is a spider. His favorite subject is Science. His favorite flower is a jasmine. His favorite month is March. His favorite season is summer because of the summer break. His favorite car is a Lamborghini. His favorite ice cream is Wild and Reckless at Baskin Robbins.

My mom likes to text her friends, spend time with us, and buy shoes. Her favorite color is blue. Her favorite holiday is Christmas. My mom's favorite book is Frozen. It is also her favorite movie. My mom's favorite sport is Soccer (she still likes Maradona.) Her favorite animal is a rabbit and her favorite insect is a butterfly. Her favorite subject is Biology. Her favorite flowers are orange roses. Her favorite months are March and May because her children's birthdays are in those months. Her favorite season is spring because there are flowers blooming all around. Her favorite car is a red Tesla. Her favorite ice cream is chocolate with chocolate chips.

My dad likes to run, sleep, and spend time with us. His favorite color is red. His favorite holiday is Diwali because he gets to eat sweets and burn firecrackers. He loves to read the Harry Potter series. His favorite movie is Star Wars 7. My dad's favorite sport is Cricket. My dad's favorite animal is a rabbit and his favorite insect is a mosquito. My dad's favorite subject is Math. His favorite month is October because his fake son's (Neato - the robot vacuum) birthday is in that month. My dad's favorite car is Hotwire (and he wants us to buy that.) His favorite ice cream is orange and cream bar.
