The best day ever

One morning I woke up in a type of a way. Not a good way. Not a bad way. I woke up in an awesome way. I jumped out of bed. I went to my calendar and checked the date. It was 5/15/2016. Today it was a Friday. Just joking it wasn't Friday. It was Fun Friday. I went downstairs and changed. I changed into my favorite dress. When I went out, I saw my dad pouring Lucky Charms into my favorite bowl. It was my favorite bowl because my name was written in cursive and it was decorated with a bunch of flowers around it. I ate my cereal. When I lifted up my bowl I found 15 dollars. I quickly hid it in my pocket before anyone could see. I then decided to go to school early. When I was going there my mom said that I could play Minecraft on the phone.

When I got there I realized that the school was having a raffle. This was only for the people who got there early. I sighned my name in my neatest cursive and wote. 15 minutes later the announcement person came up (Mrs. Lulu) and said "the winner is Sally!" I was delighted, I had won. From the prize I picked a nice pink real telescope. When I went into class I found out it was my friend Laura's half birthday. She brought us all doghnuts which tasted delicous. For math we got to eat staruburst's because we were doing fractions. I got 5 red, 5 pink, 2 orange, 3 yellow. For D.E.A.R time we got to read whatever we wanted for 1 hour. In lunch / recess they made an announcement that we would get 30 extra minutes of recess because one of the teachers computer had a problem. In music our teacher let us visit each other for 15 minutes! I could so far this was the best day in my whole entire life.

When I got home my mom asked me if I wanted to watch a movie. I said, "yes". Of course. When we got there my mom asked me which movie I wanted to watch. I picked Zootopia. My favorite part was when they found out what the night howlers are. When I walked outside I found a 4-leaf clover. I quickly picked it up before anyone else could. In the car I found a box. I curiously opened the bar and I found Starbursts and Mars Bars. When I took a bite of the Mars Bar my tooth fell out. I was super excited. When my mom found out she took me to Baskin Robins. Over there I picked Wild 'N Reckless. When I got home I found out that my dad had ordered pizza. I loved the delicous pizza. Afer that I skyped with friend, Laura and wished her happy birthday and we chatted for about 3-5 hours. And I got to stay up till 12:00. I had a dream about being the president of U.S.A. It was the best day ever.

Life in a farm

One blazing hot day while I was sitting under a tree on my father's farm and eating an apple, I was thinking. I mean like really why do we have to live in a farm?

Our governor even gave us the money to live in the city and get a house built. He even gave my father a job to be an engineer. But my father refused to that offer. Like look at my dad now. He's milking cows, washing pigs, checking to see if the chickens gave any chicks. Verses sitting in his office building taking calls and eating chips while I was at school and my mother was also taking calls and eating chips. That's what I think of work.

Aha so you're thinking what my mother and I are doing all day at home? Okay just sit back and listen. Okay what my mother does is pretty boring to me. She cooks, sews and does laundry.

What I do? I love animals. I always get to pet and hold animals. I also write in my journal and rarely help my parents.

When it comes to taxes it's pretty easy to pay. We have a little secret. We can't tell anyone but I'll trust you. Our governor pays our taxes. Oh and when we have to sell our crops all we have to do is walk across the street and sell them. I once saw the president there. It was really cool.

At night we have to sleep in one king bed with good layers of blanket. Life in a farm is not that bad. Usually the farmers are poor and their life is tough. I like living in a farm.
